gpn11 Foreclosures STATE OF GEORGIA NOTICE OF SALE UNDER POWER COUNTY OF NEWTON A default having occurred under the terms of the Promissory Note from BRADEN A. SMITH to NEWTON FEDERAL BANK (in the original principal sum of $35,000.00) dated February 1, 2013 secured by a Commercial Real Estate Deed to Secure Debt of even date therewith recorded in Deed Book 3094, pages 196-204, Newton County Records, and the entire indebtedness having been declared due and payable as therein provided, under the powers contained in said deed and in accordance with the terms thereof, there will be sold on the courthouse steps in said county at public outcry, during the legal hours of sale on the first Tuesday in June, 2017, to the highest bidder for cash, the following described property, to wit: All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the City of Porterdale, Newton County, Georgia, and being shown as LOT 374, Section 2, on a plat entitled "Village Subdivision, Bibb Manufacturing Company, Porterdale, Georgia", prepared by Dalton & Neves Engineers, dated October, 1963, which said plat is of record in the Clerk's Office, Newton Superior Court, in Plat Book 3, Folio 219, 221 and 223; said lot having the metes, bounds and dimensions as shown by said plat which by this reference thereto is incorporated herein and made a part hereof. There is located on said property a dwelling known as 19 Ivy Street, Porterdale, Georgia. Notice of the initiation of this proceeding has been given to the said BRADEN A. SMITH, as required by Georgia Laws 1981, p. 834 (O.C.G.A. Section 44-14-162.1 et. seq.). This property is being sold as the property of BRADEN A. SMITH subject to unpaid ad valorem taxes.
