FORECLOSURE NOTICE OF SALE STATE OF GEORGIA COUNTY OF RICHMOND WHEREAS, heretofore on May 18, 2009, Cheryl Jones, did execute and deliver to John Michael Wood, a certain Deed to Secure Debt to the hereinafter described property to secure the payment of a certain Deed to Secure Debt of even date in the original amount of Fifty Thousand and 00/100 ($50,000.00) Dollars, all as shown by record of said Deed to Secure Debt recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court for Richmond County, Georgia, in Deed Book 01217, page 1912; and WHEREAS, default having been made in the payment of the installments as provided for in said Deed to Secure Debt and the undersigned, as the owner and holder of said Deed to Secure Debt, has elected to declare the entire unpaid indebtedness described in and secured by said Deed to Secure Debt due and payable, and the same has not been paid; NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to and in exercise of the power of sale contained in said Deed to Secure Debt and for the purpose of collecting the indebtedness due thereby and the expense of sale, there will be sold at public outcry, before the Courthouse door in Richmond County, Georgia, on the first Tuesday in March, to-wit: March 7, 2017, within the legal hours of sale, to the highest bidder for cash, the following described property, to-wit: All that tract or parcel of land with improvements thereon, situate, lying and being in the State of Georgia, County of Richmond, being shown and designated as Lot 1 on a plat prepared for Juanita A. Wood by Ayercorp, Engineers, dated May 30, 1991, which plat is recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court for Richmond County, Georgia in Realty Reel 361, page 1321,reference being made to said plat for a more complete and accurate description as to metes, bounds and location of said property. Said property is subject to any and all easements, restrictions and covenants of record in said Clerk's Office. Map and Parcel Number: 109-4-007-00-0. The sale will be held subject to any unpaid taxes or other assessments which may be liens against said property. The proceeds of said sale will be applied to the expense of said sale and to the payment of said indebtedness, all as provided in said Deed to Secure Debt, and the balance, if any, will be distributed as provided by law.
