PUBLIC NOTICE Guardian Angel Assisted Living and Memory Care, LLC is filing an application for a cemetery relocation permit with the City of Covington, Georgia. The cemetery is located at 5377 Eagle Drive (aka Covington Bypass) within tax parcel C082000000048000, Land Lot 231, 9th District, Covington, Newton County, Georgia and is approximately 500 feet north of the intersection of Eagle Drive and Brookline Parkway and approximately 350 feet west of the abandoned Central of Georgia rail corridor. The cemetery is on a tract of land owned by Guardian Angel Assisted Living and Memory Care, LLC (Deed Book 3537, Pages 337-344, Clerk of Superior Court, Newton County, Georgia). Based on ongoing research, it is possible that members of the Hardy Morgan, John Harris, John Williamson, or William Dearing families could be buried in this cemetery. Members of other families may be buried there as well.
