NOTICE OF SALE UNDER POWER THIS IS AN ATTEMPT TO COLLECT A DEBT. ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED WILL BE USED FOR THAT PURPOSE. COUNTY OF BACON STATE OF GEORGIA By virtue of the Power of Sale contained in the Deed to Secure Debt from LARRY TIMOTHY CARTER to FNB South N.A., dated September 8, 1989 recorded in Deed Book 181, Pages 87-89, Clerk=s Office, Bacon County, Georgia, there will be sold by the undersigned at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash before the courthouse door at Bacon County, Georgia, within the legal hours of sale on the first Tuesday in April, 2017, the following described property: Tract One: All that tract or parcel of land containing 50 acres, more or less, of Land Lot No. 148 in the 5th Land District of Bacon County, Georgia, and described as follows: Beginning at a point where the Blackshear and Rockingham public road crosses the East original lot line of said lot of land; thence running along the North side od said road west a distance of approximately 500 yards to a dividing line dividing lands herein conveyed from other lands of W. M. Carter; thence running North along said dividing line a distance of 500 years, more or less, to dividing line of the lands herein conveyed and land formerly owned by K. M. Barber; thence running said dividing line East to original lot line of said lot; thence running South along said lot line 500 yards, more or less, to said public road, or point of beginning. Tract Two: All that tract or parcel of land containing five and nine tenths (5.9) acres, more or less, of Land Lot 129 in the 5th Land District of Bacon County, Georgia, and bounded as follows: North by the lands of F. L. Carter, East and South by the lands of Leon Carter and West by the lands of W. M. Carter. Tract Three: All that tract or parcel of land containing 21 acres, more or less, of Land Lot No 148 in the 5th Land District of Bacon County, Georgia, bounded as follows: On the North by lands of Banner Carter; East by other lands of Mrs. M. J. Jordan, South by other lands of the W. M. Carter Estate and lands of H. E. Jordan and on the West by other lands of the W. M. Carter Estate. The above described tract of land being a portion of the real estate owned by said deceased at the time of his death and as fully described in the appraisers return herein before referred to, and the record of which is hereby referred to for greater particularly, the same appearing of record on the Minutes of the Court of Ordinary of said Bacon County, Georgia, in Minute Book #2, Folios 189 to 194, and as shown by plats of said tract of land therein recorded. Map and Parcel # Said Deed to Secure Debt having been given to secure notes dated September 8, 1989 in the original principal amount of $38,000.00 with interest from date at the rate as specified therein. The debt secured by said Deed to Secure Debt has been and is hereby declared due because of among other possible events of default, failure to pay in accordance with the terms of said notes. The debt remaining in default, this sale will be made for the purpose of paying the same and all expenses of the sale, including attorney=s fees.
