gpn11 Foreclosures NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE OF RIGHT OF REDEMPTION STATE OF GEORGIA/COUNTY OF NEWTON TO: 1) Derek Scott Sewell, 2) Unknown Heirs and Assigns of Derek Scott Sewell, 3) Mayor, City of Newborn, 4) Tenant/Occupant/Resident, 5) Honorable Lynne Riley, State Revenue Commissioner, 6) State of Georgia, 7) Newton County Tax Commissioner, and 8) All Persons Known or Unknown Who May Claim an Interest in Property Known as 193 Johnson St, Newborn, GA 30056 (Tax Parcel N0030-00000-009-000) TAKE NOTICE THAT: The right to redeem the described property as 193 Johnson St, Newborn, GA 30056 (Tax Parcel N0030-00000-009-000), as follows, to wit: All and only that parcel of land designated as Tax Parcel N0030-00000-009-000, lying and being in the Town of Newborn, Newton County, Georgia, consisting of 1.01 acres, according to the plat of survey prepared by Phillip S. Windsor, Ga. R.L.S. No. 977, dated March 3, 1983, and being more particularly described as follows: To reach to the True Point of Beginning, begin at a point formed by the intersection of the centerline of Porter Street with the southeastern right of way of Johnson Road, also known as Johnson Street; thence running in a northeasterly direction along the southeastern right of way of Johnson Road, also known as Johnson Street, a distance of 245.0 feet to an iron pin and the True Point of Beginning for the purposes of this description; thence running North 47 10' East a distance of 210.0 feet along the aforesaid right of way to an iron pin; thence running South 44 15' East a distance of 210.0 feet to an iron pin; thence running South 47 10' West a distance of 210.0 feet to an iron pin; thence running North 44 15' West a distance of 210.0 feet to an iron pin and the True Point of Beginning for the purposes of this description. The aforedescribed property is a portion of that tract conveyed to Jackie Donald Sewell and Jessie Cronan Sewell by Warranty Deed from Albert Ozburn, Jr., and L. S. Polk, Jr., dated 4/7/67, and recorded in Deed Book 80, page 706, Clerk's Office, Newton Superior Court. This being the same parcel conveyed to Derek Scott Sewell in a deed recorded in Deed Book 2081, Page 174 and known as 193 Johnson Street, Newborn GA. Will expire and be forever foreclosed and barred on and after the 13th day of February, 2017. The tax deed to which this notice relates is dated the 6th day of October, 2015 and is recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Newton County, Georgia, in Deed Book 3381, Page 508, and corrective tax deed in Deed Book 3512, Page 408.
