NOTICE OF SALE UNDER POWER GEORGIA, GLYNN COUNTY By virtue of the power of sale contained in the Deed to Secure Debt from Otto Johnson Jr. to Security Bank of Bibb Co., dated June 10, 2009, recorded in Deed Book 2599, page 187, Glynn County, Georgia Superior Court Records, assigned to The Heritage Bank, ("Security Deed"), given to secure a Home Equity Line of Credit Note dated June 10, 2009, to Security Bank of Bibb Co, with a credit limit of $200,000.00, assigned to The Heritage Bank ("Note"), and other indebtedness, there will be sold by the undersigned at public outcry, during the legal hours of sale before the Courthouse door of Glynn County, Georgia, at Brunswick, Georgia, on the first Tuesday in February, 2017, to the highest and best bidder for cash, the following described property: All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Glynn County, Georgia, described and identified upon a plat of survey by Patrick C. Garner, Georgia Registered Land Surveyor No. 2059, entitled "River Ridge Subdivision, Phase I" dated August 27, 1979 and recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court in Plat Drawer 17, Plat No. 630, revised May 16, 1980 and recorded in Plat Drawer 1, Plat No. 660, as ALL OF LOT NUMBERED FORTY-ONE (41) AND LOT FORTY (40), BLOCK "A", RIVER RIDGE SUBDIVISION, PHASE I. Reference is hereby made to the aforesaid plat of survey and to the record thereof for the purpose of more particularly describing the location, metes and bounds of the subject property and for all other purposes allowed by law. The debt secured by said Security Deed has been and is hereby declared due because of, among other possible events of default, non-payment of installments due under the Note. The indebtedness remaining in default, the sale will be made for the purpose of applying proceeds thereof to the payment of the indebtedness secured by said Security Deed, accrued interest and expenses of the sale, including attorney's fees. To the best of the undersigned's knowledge and belief the property is in the possession of heirs or devisees of Otto Johnson Jr. Said property will be sold as his property, subject to any outstanding ad valorem taxes, assessments, and liens or interests superior to the Security Deed first set out above.
