NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE OF RIGHT TO REDEEM [REF. O.C.G.A., Section 48-4-5 et seq.; 48-4-45 & 48-4-46] TO: CODY L. TRASHER a/k/ CODY L. THRASHER: And any occupant of 114 Friendship Mineral Bluff, Georgia AND ALL PERSONS KNOWN AND UNKNOWN HAVING OF RECORD IN FANNIN COUNTY ANY RIGHT, TITLE INTEREST IN, OR LIEN UPON the following described property. RE:FORECLOSURE OF EQUITY OF REDEMPTION FOR TAX SALE DEED (REF. O.C.G.A. 48-4-45, 46) Take notice that: The right to redeem the following described property, to wit will expire and be forever foreclosed and barred as of 10:00 AM on the 4th day of October, 2016: All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the 8th District, 1st Section, of Fannin County, Georgia, and being a part of Land Lot No. 9 and being more particularly described as 1.55 acres, more or less, as shown on the plat of survey prepared for Bobby E. Thrasher property, dated November 19, 2001 prepared by Richard E. Nutt, G.R.L.S. #1797, said plat of survey recorded in Plat Hanger D-185, page 3, Fannin County, Deeds Record. Said plat of survey being incorporated herein by reference thereto for a more complete and accurate metes and bounds description of the above described property. Being a portion of that property conveyed from M. Paul Atkinson to Bobby L. Thrasher and Sally M. Thrasher by Warranty Deed, dated May 17, 1990, recorded May 17, 1990 in Deed Book 160, page 309, Fannin County, Deed Records. Being a portion of that property conveyed from Sally M. Thrasher to Bobby L. Thrasher by warranty deed dated October 21, 1991 and recorded October 21, 1991 in Deed Book 177, page 552 Fanning County, Deed Records. Being the property conveyed from Harold Thrasher, as Administrator of the Estate of Bobby Lee Thrasher a/k/a Bobby L. Thrasher to Harold Thrasher by Administrators Deed dated May 3, 2004, recorded December 9, 2004 at Fanning County Clerk of Superior Court in Deed Book 609, page 206-208. As described in Deed Book 928, page 511. Further described as Map & Parcel 000903701. WHEREAS said property was levied upon as the property of Cody L. Trasher, followed by advertisement by due and legal publication as required by law being made in The News Observer, a newspaper published in Fannin County, Georgia in which Sheriff's sales are published; and WHEREAS said Ex-Officio Sheriff did proceed to expose for sale the above described tract during the legal hours of sale in accordance with law, before the courthouse doors of Fannin County Courthouse the same being the 2nd day of June, 2015, the same being the date advertised for sale; and, The right of redemption will expire and be forever foreclosed and barred on and after 10:00 AM on the 4th day of October, 2016. The tax deed to which this notice relates is dated the 2nd day of June, 2015 and is recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Fannin County, Georgia, in Deed Book 1131, at pages 808-809.
