NOTICE COUNTY OF BACON STATE OF GEORGIA Under and by virtue of the power of sale in a certain deed to secure debt from NORWICH PROPERTIES, INC, Grantor, to ALMA EXCHANGE BANK & TRUST, Grantee dated the 21st day of June, 2005 recorded in Deed Book 404 page 688-690, in the Bacon County records, with an original principal amount of $85,000.00, along with a Promissory Note dated February 22, 2016 with an original principal amount of $72,893.24, there will be sold by the undersigned at public outcry during the legal hours of sale, at the Courthouse door in Bacon County, Georgia, on the first Tuesday in November 1, 2016, to the highest bidder for cash, the following property: All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot 147 of the Second Land District of Appling County, Georgia containing 46.977 acres, more or less, and being more particularly shown and described according to that certain survey and plat thereof by Merlin J. Tomberly, G.R.L.S. No. 2477, dated June 8, 2005, and records in Plat Book 18, page 50, of the deed records of the Clerk, Superior Court, Appling County, Georgia and by reference incorporated herein for descriptive and all other purposes. The debt secured by said deed to secure debt and notes have been and are hereby declared due and payable in full because of default in payment of said debt to secure debt and notes. Notice has been given of the intention to enforce provisions for collection for attorneys fees and foreclosure in accordance with legal requirements and the terms of the deed to secure debt and note. The indebtedness remaining in default, the sale will be made for the purpose of applying the proceeds thereof to the payment of the indebtedness secured by the deed to secure debt, including attorneys fees and the remainder, if any, shall be applied as provided by law. To the best of the undersigneds knowledge and belief the property is in the possession of NORWICH PROPERTIES, INC. and said property will be sold as the property of NORWICH PROPERTIES, INC. subject to outstanding ad valorem taxes, street improvements, and easements or restrictions of record if any.
