Notice Of Sale Of Realty
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to the power of sale contained in the security deed, executed and delivered on July 23, 2009, by Harold McKenzie Lackey, III, as grantor, to United Bank, as grantee, and recorded in Deed Book 805, pages 109-113, of the Superior Court records of Pike County, Georgia, granting the property hereinafter described as collateral for the payment of the indebtedness secured thereby, and by virtue of default in the payment of the indebtedness therein mentioned, which has made the aforesaid power of sale operative and effective, the undersigned, as attorney in fact for Harold McKenzie Lackey, III, will sell at public outcry before the courthouse door in Pike County, Georgia, on the first Tuesday in August, 2016, during the legal hours of sale to the highest and best bidder, for cash, the property described in said security deed, to-wit:
PARCEL ONE: All that tract or parcel of land containing 6.282 acres, with all improvements thereon, situate, lying and being in Land Lot 102, Second Land District of Pike County, Georgia, designated as Tract XI on that certain plat of survey dated October 31, 1983, prepared by Robert S. Mitchell, Registered Land Surveyor, of record in Plat Book 7, page 27, Clerk's Office, Superior Court, Pike County, Georgia, and having such size, shape, location, metes, bounds, courses and distances as shown on said plat of survey, which by reference is incorporated into and made a part of this description as fully as if copied at length herein.
This is a portion of the Mattie Jo King Lackey Estate (No Administration proceeds being of record in Minute Book P., page 392), conveyed to Mattie Jo King Lackey by Twelve Months' Support proceedings on the estate of H. M. Lackey, Sr. of record in Minute book M. Page 18, Probate court of Pike County, Georgia.
Parcel Two: All that tract or parcel of land containing 1.158 acres, with all improvements thereon, situate, lying and being in Land Lot 102, Second Land District of Pike County, Georgia, designated as Tract 1 on that certain plat of survey dated October 31, 1983, prepared by Robert S. Mitchell, Registered Land Surveyor, of record in Plat Book 7, page 27, Clerk's Office, Superior Court, Pike County, Georgia, and having such size, shape, location, metes, bounds, courses and distances as shown on said plat of survey, which by reference is incorporated into and made a part of this description as fully as if copied at length herein.
This is the identical real estate conveyed to Harold M. Lackey, Jr. and Mattie Joe King Lackey by warranty deed of record in Deed Book 78, page 198, and is a portion of the Estate of Mattie Jo King Lackey, No Administration proceeds being of record in Minute Book P, page 392, probate court of Pike County, Georgia.
Notice, as required by law, has been given of intention to enforce the collection of attorney's fees as set out in the note evidencing the indebtedness secured by the aforesaid security deed and this sale will be made for the purpose of paying all indebtedness, secured by the aforesaid security deed, and all expenses of sale, including attorney fees.
This law firm is acting as a debt collector attempting to collect a debt. Any information obtained will be used for that purpose.
