REDEMPTION NOTICE PER GEORGIA CODE SECTION 48-4-45 REDEMPTION NOTICE PER GEORGIA CODE SECTION 48-4-45 Take notice that: The right to redeem the following described property, to wit: All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot 245 of the Sixth land District, of Gwinnett County, Georgia, being Lot 39, Block G of the Oakhurst Subdivision as per plat made by Watts and Browning, dated March, 1949, the same being recorded in Plat Book E, Page 107 in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court, Gwinnett County, Georgia, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin on the West side of Hillside Drive 236.4 feet South from the Southwest corner of the intersection of Ask Street and Hillside Drive; thence running West along the South side of Lot No. 40, Block G, a distance of 198.3 feet to an iron pin; thence running South a distance of 65 feet to an iron pin on the West side of Hillside Drive; thence running North along the West side of Hillside Drive a distance of 65 feet to the Point of Beginning, will expire and be forever foreclosed and barred on and after the 1st day of April, 2016. The tax deed to which this notice relates is dated the 6th day of December, 2011, and is recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Gwinnett County, Georgia, in Deed Book 51112 at page 362. The property may be redeemed at any time before the 1st day of April, 2016, by payment of the redemption price as fixed and provided by law to the undersigned at the following address: Carla B. The redemption price is the amount paid for the property at the tax sale, as shown by recitals in the tax deed, plus any taxes paid on the property by the purchaser after the sale for taxes, plus any special assessments on the property, plus a premium of 20 percent of the amount of the first year or fraction of a year which has elapsed between the date of the sale and the date on which the redemption payment is made and 10 percent for each year which has elapsed between the date of the sale and the date on which the redemption payment is made and 10 percent for each year or fraction of a year thereafter.
