NOTICE OF SALE UNDER POWER GEORGIA, COLUMBIA COUNTY Under and by virtue of the power of sale contained in a Deed to Secure Debt from David B. Robinson and Brandi Pilcher Smith to Otis F. Askin, dated June 26, 2015, and recorded in Deed Book 9982, pages 86-89, Columbia County, Georgia records, said Deed to Secure Debt having been given to secure note dated June 26, 2015, in the original principal sum of Sixteen Thousand Seven Hundred and 00/100 ($16,700.00) Dollars with interest from date at the rate stated in said note on the unpaid balance until paid, there will be sold by the undersigned at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash before the courthouse door at Columbia County, Georgia within the legal hours of sale on the first Tuesday in March, 2016, the property described in said Deed to Secure Debt, to wit: All that lot or parcel of land, situate, lying, and being in the 131st G.M.D., Columbia County, Georgia, containing 1.68 acres, more or less, and being known and designated as Lot 4, Marshall Tract Subdivision, as shown on a plat thereof prepared by Troy Smith & Associates, Reg. Land Surveyor, recorded in the Office of the Superior Court Clerk for Columbia County, Georgia in Plat Cabinet B, Slide 180, No. 8; reference being made to said plat for a more complete and accurate description of said property. Said property is commonly known as 3233 Marshall Road, Appling, Georgia 30802. The debt secured by said Deed to Secure Debt has been and is hereby declared due because of, among other possible events of default, the non-payment of the monthly installments on said loan. The debt remaining in default, this sale will be made for the purpose of paying the same and all expenses of this sale, including legal fees. This sale will be held subject to all unpaid taxes, assessments, and restrictions of record, if any, transfer tax and all state and county taxes. Said property will be sold as the property of David B. Robinson and Brandi Pilcher Smith, the property to the best information, knowledge, and belief of the undersigned, being presently in the possession of David B. Robinson and Brandi Pilcher Smith, and the proceeds of said sale will be applied to the payment of said indebtedness and all the expenses of said sale, including attorney's fees, all as provided in said deed, and the balance, if any, will be distributed as provided by law. Terms of the sale are to be cash, purchaser paying for papers, revenue stamps, and all state and county taxes. This 26th day of January, 2016. David B.
