NOTICE OF SALE UNDER POWER GEORGIA, RICHMOND COUNTY By virtue of the power of sale contained in a Security Deed from Joann Thurmond Gordon to One Reverse Mortgage, LLC dated January 13, 2011 recorded in Deed Book 01290, Page 0690 , Richmond County Records, and last assigned to Bank of America, N.A., conveying the after-described property to secure a Note in the original principal amount of ONE HUNDRED TWO THOUSAND AND 00/100 ($102,000.00), with interest thereon as set forth therein, there will be sold at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash, before the Courthouse door of Richmond County, Georgia, during the legal hours of sale on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 the following described property, to wit: ALL THAT LOT OR PARCEL OF LAND, WITH ALL IMPROVEMENTS THEREON, SITUATE, LYING AND BEING IN THE CITY OF AUGUSTA, RICHMOND COUNTY, GEORGIA, AND SAID LOT IS MORE PARTICULARLY KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS LOT NO. 1 ON A PLAT MADE BY THE M. W. HALL COMPANY ON THE 28TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1949, SAID PLAT BEING RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK OF SUPERIOR COURT OF RICHMOND COUNTY, GEORGIA, IN REALTY BOOK 17-P, PAGE 100, TO WHICH SAID PLAT REFERENCE IS MADE FOR A MORE ACCURATE DESCRIPTION OF SAID LOT, ITS DIMENSIONS, METES AND BOUNDS. The Debt secured by said Security Deed has been and is hereby declared due because of nonpayment of the indebtedness when due and in the manner provided in the Note and Security Deed. The debt remaining in default, the sale will be made for the purpose of paying the same and all expenses of sale, as provided in the Security Deed and by law, including attorney's fees, notice of intent to collect attorney's fees having been given. Said property will be sold subject to any outstanding ad valorem taxes, any assessments, liens, encumbrances, zoning ordinances, restrictions, covenants, and matters of record superior to the Security Deed first set out above. To the best knowledge and belief of the undersigned, the party in possession of the property is Joann Thurmond Gordon and Estate of Joann Gordon or, a tenant or tenants, and said property was or is commonly known as 2055 Starnes Street, Augusta, GA 30904.
