Notice of Right to Redeem Real Property from Tax Sale
7 acres, more or less, Land Lot 314, 11th District, 2nd Section, Gilmer County, Georgia

To: Wilma Ruth Rice, Ann Rice Beal, Betty Rice Hall and any other parties with an interest in the captioned real property.
Please Take Notice:
That the right to redeem the following described property, to wit:
All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the 11th District and Second Section, bounded as follows: Commencing at a Mulberry on the original line; thence South to the branch; thence the branch South to the head; thence the hollow to the conditional line between W. M. Cook and first; thence East to the public road; thence the road to the conditional corner on a Black Oak Tree on the North side of said road; thence Northerly back to the original; thence West to the starting point; being 35 acres, more or less, of lot of Land No. 314, in 11th District and 2nd Section.
The above described property being the same as that conveyed from Enoch Ray to W. M. Rice & Lizzie Rice by Warranty Deed, dated October 4, 1928, recorded in Deed Book 11, Page 408, Gilmer County Records.
LESS & EXCEPT: All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the 11th District, 2nd Section, of Gilmer County, Georgia and being 4.65 acres, more or less, of Land Lot 314. Being the same property conveyed to Jesse L. Garland by Warranty Deed dated March 31, 1977, recorded in Deed Book 75, Page 385 and a part of the property conveyed to W. M. Rice and Lizzie Rice by Warranty Deed from Enoch Ray, October 4, 1928 and recorded in Deed Book 11, Page 408 and the same property conveyed by Jessie C. Garland to Horace M. Champion and Geraldine J. Champion on May 6, 1977, as recorded in Deed Book 75, Page 579, Gilmer County, Georgia Records.
The above described property being of the same as that conveyed from Horace M. Champion and Geraldine J. Champion to William A. Logan Jr and Monica Lynn Logan by Warranty Deed, dated March 19, 1986, recorded in Deed Book 174, Page 413, Gilmer County Records.
LESS AND EXCEPT: All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot #314, in the 11th District and 2nd Section of Gilmer County, Georgia, containing 9.70 acres and being a part of the property deeded to W. M. and Lizzie Rice from Enoch Ray, October 4, 1928. Recorded in Deed Book 11, Page 408, Gilmer County Records, Gilmer County, Georgia. See Plat Book 3, Page 19, of Gilmer County Records for further description.
The above described property being of the same as that conveyed from Inell Rice, Hazel Long, Fable Mulkey and Winfred Rice sole heirs at law of W. M. and Lizzie Rice and C. C. Knight by Warranty Deed, dated May 9, 1969, recorded in Deed Book 42, Page 361, Gilmer County Records.
LESS & EXCEPT: All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot Number 314, in the 11th District and 2nd Section, of Gilmer County, Georgia, containing 3.98 acres.
The above described property is a part of the property as shown by a Warranty Deed from Enoch Ray to W. M. Rice and Lizzie Rice dated October 4, 1928, recorded December 3, 1928, Deed Book 11, Page 408, Gilmer County Records.
The above described property being of the same as that conveyed from Winfred Rice and Fable R. Mulkey and Hazel R. Long, Heirs of W. M. and Lizzie Rice, deceased to Audley Long and Hazel R. Long by Warranty Deed, dated June 29, 1979, recorded in Deed Book 89, Page 584, Gilmer County Records.
LESS & EXCEPT: All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot Number 314, in the 11th District and 2nd Section, of Gilmer County, Georgia, containing 8.50 acres, more or less and is a part of the property as shown by a Warranty Deed from Enoch Ray to W. M. Rice and Lizzie Rice, dated October 4, 1928. Recorded December 3, 1928, Deed Book 11, Page 408, Gilmer County Records.
The above described property being of the same as that conveyed from Winford Rice and Fable R. Mulkey and Hazel R. Long, Heirs of W. M. and Lizzie Rice, deceased to Audley Long and Hazel R. Long by Warranty Deed, dated June 29, 1979, recorded in Deed Book 89, Page 585, Gilmer County Records.
As described in Deed Book 29, Page 537 & Deed Book 11, Page 408. Further described as Map & Parcel 3086003.
will expire and be forever foreclosed and barred on and after the 31st day of October, 2015.
The Tax Sale Deed to which this notice relates is dated August 5, 2014, and recorded in Deed Book 1884, pages 388-391, Office of Clerk of Superior Court, Gilmer County, Georgia.
The property may be redeemed at any time before the 31st day of October, 2015, by payment of the redemption price as fixed and provided by law to the undersigned at the following address: 15 North Avenue, Ellijay, Georgia 30540.
